About Us

I am an intuitive rock hound and lapidary artist specializing in repurposing materials.

Lake Michigan holds a special place in my families heart and we love rock hunting. It’s amazing to connect to the land up there. We love and respect it and in turn we are given treasures.

The Leland Blue stone is what started it all. I found an amazing one in 2012 and I was hooked!

Petoskey stones have a special place in my heart as well. I love imagining what that stone has seen in its lifetime. Having a degree and background in Science I’m fascinated by these fossils. I always wanted to be able to cut and polish these stones so that’s what I did. Jeep's hold a special place in my heart. I got my Jeep way back in 1999. Solar Yellow 2000 TJ “Bessy”. My Dad got Fire cracker Red in 1997 and still has one today. The culture and people are amazing. In the spirit of repurposing I sourced Fordite from the Toledo plant. JEEPITE displays factory colors so you can match you’re Jeep! As an avid Jeep girl you can find me every year at the Toledo Jeep Festival

I cut the materials using various types of saws and lapidary saws. Don’t try this at home. It’s a dirty job. I then polish the stones on my Lapidary grinder. Each wheel meticulously cutting and polishing the material.
